(5) Cookies

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser.

Cookies, which are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process or provide certain functions that you request, are stored on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the optimised provision of services that are free from technical errors.

The cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.

However, we also use cookies which remain on your hard disk. Their expiration date is set in the future. When you visit the website again, they automatically recognise that you have already visited the website and which input and settings you prefer (so-called persistent cookies).

You can adjust your browser settings so that you are informed when cookies are being placed and only allow cookies on a site by site basis, refuse to allow cookies in certain cases or generally, or enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. However, the functionality of this website might be limited if you disable cookies.

(6) Google analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics also uses cookies in order to enable an analysis of your use of the website.
Please note that Google Analytics has been enhanced with the “Anonymizelp” code on this website in order to ensure the anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

By enabling IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be abbreviated by Google in the Member States of the European Union or other contracting states to the Agreement the European Economic Area before being transmitted to Google in the USA. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases.

Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website in order to analyse your use of the website, compile reports on website activities and render other services connected to website and internet usage for the website operator. Google does not merge the IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics with any other data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software accordingly; however, please note that if you do so, you might not be able to fully use all of the functions of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of the data created by the cookie which relates to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of such data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available here (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

You can also prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. This places an opt-out cookie, which prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website: disable Google Analytics

You can find more information on the terms and conditions of use and data protection at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

(7) Facebook page (Fanpage)

As well as this website, we also run our own Facebook page (a so-called “fan page”) for advertising, marketing and information purposes and in order to be able to contact visitors to the fan page directly (usually interested parties, customers and advertisers, etc.).

We use aggregated analyses of data concerning the usage of the fan page, which we cannot use to relate to individuals (so-called “insights data”), for the purpose of optimising fan page content.

"The lawful basis for processing this data is Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR and the underlying legitimate interest in providing an effective information and communication option for visitors to the fan page.
The primary responsibility for collecting and processing the insights data lies with Facebook. For details of this responsibility and your rights as the data subject (see below) go to https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum. You can assert your rights as a data subject with us or directly with Facebook. For the avoidance of doubt, however, we would like to reiterate that we cannot collect, process or view any personal insights data (see above) and do not have any knowledge of or access to the circumstances of any potential processing by Facebook. To make any data subject requests or assert your right to information, please contact Facebook directly at Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
